My Thoughts: Gravity by Melissa West

You know what ticks me off when reading a Dystopian book? A PERFECT BOY for the dearest protagonist. I mean, it’s kind of tiring to know that he’s gorgeous, athletic type, excels in almost everything, yadda yadda. To be honest, those type of guys are just too, well, perfect. LOL. Can the author please add something imperfect? Oh wait! That’s how these guys are made up. They’re beautiful. Why beautiful? Go read the book. :]
Story-wise, it’s a GOOD story. I like it actually. It captured my attention by its unique plot. I have to say that I kind of think the love story here is a little bit rush? I mean, I’m hoping for a getting-to-know-you-more or whatever. I guess you can say that I’m no fan of rushed love stories.
Anyway, I know most book lovers are not fond of novels being made into movies, but I’m the type of reader who wants to see the characters and their world in action. So yes, I wish to see GRAVITY as a Sci-Fi movie.
Oh, and I am sooooooo looking forward to the sequel (HOVER by Melissa West). I already have my theories here as to what might happen in the next book. I just hope I’m dead wrong about them. ;]
UPDATE: They just released the OFFICIAL BOOK TRAILER OF GRAVITY!!! Muhahaha!

How were you able to finish this?! I was actually excited to read this book because the story looks impressive but after a few chapters, I was like “OMG?! I was waiting for this kind of book”. I would have like it except for the teen romance again. The insta-love plus perfect guy is totally not my thing.
I don’t know, but I think it will take a lot of effort for me to read this story without rolling my eyes every time the romance will come up. Anyway, have you read Breathe? or Darkness Falls?

Ay nako, you will definitely roll your eyes pag dating sa romance part na. Imbes na kiligin ka, nakakataas ng kilay.
I just like the story itself kaya natapos ko ‘to. Plus, I’m curious din. And ayoko n unfinished book. :D

I haven’t heard about this book at all – but it does have a very interesting title. Thanks for the quick summary, I’m going to check it out.
