A band of children from the “Goon Docks” neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, hoping to save their homes from demolition, go on an adventure to find the buried treasure of One-Eyed Willie, a legendary 17th-century pirate.

I was surprised that HBO featured The Goonies last Friday. I was like, FOR REAL?!?!? I mean, hello?! The last time I saw the movie I think was ages ago! I think I was still 5 or 6 years old? And at that time, we have a betamax copy of it. Imagine the oldness of the movie. LOL. It was actually my favorite movie back then. I remember watching it countless times with my grandpa. =) I was just happy that HBO decided to feature the movie. =D

For the young ones, I suggest watching The Goonies. It’s just like your average family movie. Lots of adventure, funny scenes, and treasure hunting!
