Interesting. I had not heard of Egnyte but I’m doing pretty much the same thing with SMEStorage.com. I have our FTP files automatically backed up to Amazon S3 using this service and I automatically back up this copy to Gmail, again using SMEStorage.com so I have two levels of redundancy of our files. If we can’t get access over FTP then we can get our files via Amazon S3 and if S3 is down we can get them via Google Docs. If we add any files whilst the services are down everything is automatically schedled on the next sync.

Egnyte is a great solution. Great write up on Egnyte. The features like the local cloud for off line access and the iphone access is something others don’t offer. Unlimited storage is another cool thing that others charge for.
